California storm victims just received more time to file 2022 taxes and make payments till Nov. 16, 2023.
All California counties except Lassen, Modoc, and Shasta counties are qualify for the extension as long as the address of record is in a disaster area locality. The taxpayers get extra time automatically!
Below is the list of returns and payments qualifying for the Nov. 16 deadline.
- 2022 individual income tax returns and payments were due on April 18.
- 2022 contributions to IRAs and health savings accounts for qualified taxpayers.
- Quarterly estimated tax payments were due on April 18, June 15 and Sept. 15.
- Calendar-year 2022 partnership and S corporation returns were due on March 15.
- Calendar-year 2022 corporate and fiduciary income tax returns and payments were due on April 18.
- Quarterly payroll and excise tax returns were due on May 1, July 31 and Oct. 31.
- Calendar-year 2022 returns filed by tax-exempt organizations that were due on May 15.
